Aerial view of the pumptrack in Paimbœuf
Read off this view on 10 September 2026: a sealed surface, a footprint of about 1 600 m², 24 rollers, 18 banked turns. A large sealed track ringed by a bright white line: three or four big elongated interlocking loops around grassed islands, next to the multi-sport court, between the houses and a pond. A large course with multiple loops and long lines: speed and plenty of route choice, all levels. It shows the layout, not the state of the rollers or the surface, and may predate the pumptrack. © IGN — BD ORTHO®, Licence Ouverte 2.0.

What the town says about it

A third source, neither the ministry census nor OpenStreetMap: what the town itself publishes. It is the only one that says where a facility came from, who built it and what it cost.

Paimbœuf's pumptrack, on the mail de la Pierre Pointue next to the city-stade, has two courses: 130 linear metres for experienced riders, 50 metres for beginners. The project grew out of an online residents' survey run in summer 2022, the town asking mainly the 5-to-18s who ride BMX, mountain bikes or scooters.1, 2
