Aerial view of the pumptrack in Les Herbiers
Read off this view on 9 September 2026: a sealed surface, a footprint of about 900 m², 16 rollers, 8 banked turns. A large elongated outer loop enclosing two or three triangular inner loops, with a blue wallride, at the mail du Grand-Fief. A large track: a flowing outer lap, more technical inner sections. All levels. It shows the layout, not the state of the rollers or the surface, and may predate the pumptrack. © IGN — BD ORTHO®, Licence Ouverte 2.0.

What the town says about it

A third source, neither the ministry census nor OpenStreetMap: what the town itself publishes. It is the only one that says where a facility came from, who built it and what it cost.

Les Herbiers's pumptrack is on the mail du Grand-Fief, near the pool, the schools and the station. It opened on 28 June 2025, on the French cycling championships weekend, with displays by the local roller and BMX clubs. A loop of bumps and banked turns, open to all levels; the Agence nationale du Sport and the Vendée Department helped fund it.1
