Aerial view of the pumptrack in La Baconnière
Read off this view on 9 September 2026: a sealed surface, a footprint of about 600 m², 16 rollers, 11 banked turns. An outer loop and a dense network of tight inner loops, next to the sports hall. A large track packed with turns: a flowing outer lap, tight links in the middle. All levels. It shows the layout, not the state of the rollers or the surface, and may predate the pumptrack. © IGN — BD ORTHO®, Licence Ouverte 2.0.

What the town says about it

A third source, neither the ministry census nor OpenStreetMap: what the town itself publishes. It is the only one that says where a facility came from, who built it and what it cost.

La Baconnière's pumptrack, near the sports hall, was chosen by the town after weighing it against a city-stade, several meetings settling the site and the materials. The scheme cost €118,992 excl. tax, engineering included, entrusted to the USE consultancy. It was the second pumptrack in Mayenne, opened in summer 2022.1
