What the town says about it

A third source, neither the ministry census nor OpenStreetMap: what the town itself publishes. It is the only one that says where a facility came from, who built it and what it cost.

Guémené-Penfao's pumptrack sits on the footprint of the former velodrome, between rue Eugène Leblay and avenue de la Victoire. It opened on 11 February 2023: an asphalt track with four colour-coded routes — green, blue, red, black — from the easiest to expert-only, with orange markers on the unusual shapes. A bike pump and repair station, tools free to use, completes the set.1, 2

The town puts the cost at €207,600 excl. tax: €103,800 from the Agence nationale du sport, €62,280 from the State, and €41,520 of its own. The design-and-build contract, in asphalt, went to Bike Solutions.1, 3
